I absolutely loved the cozy and inviting atmosphere of Roan Cottage. The decoration was charming, with beautiful floral patterns and comfortable furniture. It felt like a true home away from home, perfect for a senior woman like myself. The general areas, such as the lounge and garden, were easily accessible and well-maintained, making it easy for me to relax and enjoy my stay.
If I had to ask for one improvement for senior vacationers, it would be to have handrails installed in the bathroom. It would provide extra support and safety for us, especially when getting in and out of the shower.

Amazing location, like being in the middle of nowhere with no one else around. Great for cycling and exploring nearby cultural highlights. Free WiFi and private parking were a nice bonus.
Oh, I just loved getting lost because of the incorrect directions and having to rely on my psychic powers to find the place. Great exercise for the brain!

The floral wallpaper and delicate curtains brought back memories of my younger days. The common areas were easily accessible, with wide hallways and comfortable seating for us senior folks. It was lovely to relax in the living room and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.
I would have appreciated a bit more assistance from the staff in planning activities suitable for senior individuals.

The location of the cottage was perfect for our New Year getaway. It was situated in a peaceful area, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, providing a tranquil atmosphere. We also appreciated the thoughtful gesture of the hosts leaving milk and chocolates for us. the cottage served as an excellent base for exploring the Cotswold area, with easy access to nearby attractions and beautiful countryside walks.
While overall our stay was enjoyable, there were a couple of minor inconveniences. the shower pressure was a bit weak, which made the bathing experience less satisfying.

I had the most wonderful stay at a charming cottage nestled in the beautiful countryside. The cottage was warm and cozy, with a lovely garden bench where I could sit and enjoy the stunning sunsets. Inside, the lounge/diner was a great space for practicing yoga and staying active while quarantining. The kitchen was fully equipped, allowing me to prepare delicious meals. The nearby supermarket and gym with a pool were also just a 15-minute drive away. The owners, Alison and Simon, were fantastic hosts, accommodating all my needs and ensuring I had a pleasant stay. I cannot recommend this place enough!
While the shower pressure was a bit weak and the iron board was a bit small, these minor drawbacks did not diminish my overall enjoyable experience at the cottage.
